Job Summary

The Warehouse Associateis responsible for performing manual and clerical duties related to the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining documentation, and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and certified to operate a standup forklift while working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
  • Gather, verify, package, and prepare materials and finished goods for shipment according to established procedures and transportation requirements.
  • Record incoming and outgoing shipments using written and computerized inventory systems.
  • Route materials, supplies, and equipment to designated inspection, storage, or production areas.
  • Operate standup forklifts and other powered material handling equipment to transport materials safely.
  • Operate hydraulic jack lifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Assist with inventory organization and material movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
  • Follow established shipping, receiving, inventory control, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support additional warehouse and logistics functions as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Current standup forklift certification is required prior to employment.
  • Experience operating standup forklifts is required.
  • Basiloid experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
  • Ability to operate powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts.
  • Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately complete written and electronic documentation.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while following established procedures.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience operating powered material handling equipment required.
  • Basiloid experience preferred.
