Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, staging, receiving, and organizing inventory to support daily warehouse operations. This second-shift position requires operating forklifts and cherry pickers, including working at heights of up to 30 feet. The ideal candidate has experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and material handling equipment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials accurately.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Safely work at heights of up to 30 feet while operating warehouse equipment.
  • Use RF scanners to process inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Verify product quantities and inspect materials for accuracy and quality.
  • Utilize computer applications to support warehouse operations and documentation.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Support warehouse operations in roles that may include Floater, Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate.
  • Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent warehouse experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of sit-down forklift and cherry picker operating experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience using RF scanners.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Forklift and cherry picker operating experience is required.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations preferred.
  • Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn product information.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely at heights of up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
