Job Overview
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of advanced engineering solutions. This role demands extensive technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of significant contributions to projects. The Mechanical Engineer will provide guidance, drive innovations, and play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of Hubbell's complex engineering initiatives. What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (General, Mechanical, or Electrical), or related field (required) 6-8 years of progressive experience in engineering with a strong focus on design, development, or project management (required) Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the specific field - e.g., CAD software, Simulation tools, etc. (required) Proven track record of successfully contributing to engineering projects Strong understanding of engineering principles, theories, and best practices Experience in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, and successful execution of engineering projects Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality perimeters Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on thorough analysis Strong communication skill, both written and verbal Understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to engineering standards and safety protocols
