Job DescriptionThis position is for qualified manufacturing technicians that want to impact the next generation of technicians entering the workforce.

Essential Functions

  • Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.
  • Deliver instruction for a variety of educational projects including but not limited to continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.
  • Complete documentation including grades, etc., as required by the supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, & Skills Required Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in Industrial Systems, Mechatronics, Electrical Troubleshooting, or related flied or equivalent industry experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant technical or occupational skill areas, as determined by program goals and employer demand.
  • Strong understanding of higher education and workforce development landscape.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clarity, influence, and impact across various internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Educational requirements vary based on the training needs.
  • Three to five years of related experience relevant to the subject needs.

Note: Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, except in cases where a specific degree is required to meet accreditation standards, licensure requirements, or other legislative or regulatory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, certain faculty positions and staff roles governed by state or federal educational mandates.

Work Environment & Additional Information Work Location

This is an on-campus position that requires employees to be physically present at the assigned campus location as scheduled by their manager.

Travel Requirements

This role may require occasional travel to different office locations and events.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds, operate trailer landing gear, and secure loads.

Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods, including crawling under vehicles and handling tools.

Exposure to varying weather, noise, and hazards associated with heavy equipment.

Maintain dexterity, coordination, and endurance to demonstrate safe driving techniques.
