Responsibilities
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist (Journeyman) to support the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Robotic & Autonomous Systems (PAE RAS) as a Flight Clearance Product Developer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The AIR PMO operates under PAE RAS and focuses specifically on aircraft-related unmanned systems, formerly known as the Navy and Marine Corps Small Tactical UAS Program Office. Its responsibilities include testing, certification, and operational integration of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for shipboard and shore-based operations. The AIR PMO coordinates all aspects of the program including battery certifications, funding, flight clearances, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, ensuring safe and effective integration with fleet operations. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with telework authorized. However, during the first six to nine months, the primary focus is for this candidate to obtain NAVAIR Empowerment by working on-site approximately one week per month for in-person on-the-job training and mentoring. #LI-CS3 Compensation Statement At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
