The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking a civil engineer to join our renewables group in Denver, Colorado. In this hybrid role, you will support the planning, design, and development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other clean energy infrastructure. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to provide civil engineering design and analysis for site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, access roads, and erosion and sediment control from project conception through construction. A successful person in this role is motivated by advancing sustainable energy solutions and delivering exceptional client service through high-quality technical work. They enjoy working independently and collaboratively, applying their civil engineering expertise to help develop reliable and innovative renewable energy projects. They are adaptable, responsive to project needs, and committed to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential. This role also requires the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and project recommendations to clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. Compensation: anticipated range of $70,000-$85,000 annually. Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
