About this Role - Yard Shipping & Receiving Agent

We are looking for a talented individual that would be responsible for providing a wide variety of shop and yard support MJE's Niagara Truck Shop

What You'll Do

- Yard management of equipment

- Receive daily deliveries (e.g., FedEx), verify contents against packing slips/POs, label and store in the correct locations, and resolve discrepancies

- Audit incoming equipment for deficiencies

- Load/Offload trailers and trucks; move pallets between shop, yard, and trucks using forklift/front end loader

- Assist with light repair of various small equipment (basic welding/cutting as qualified), tool repairs, and general shop housekeeping to keep work areas safe and efficient.

- Make sure equipment is organized and well maintained

- Perform warehouse work such as maintaining inventories, moving pallets, stocking shelves, operating a forklift

- Performs routine organizing, cleaning, maintaining and other general laborer responsibilities for the truck shop

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrate multi-tasking and organizational skills

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Ability to operate front end loader, forklifts/yard equipment safely

- Class A CDL with no restrictions or the ability to obtain one

- Ability to communicate effectively, show initiative, and fit into a team environment

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- 1-3 years of construction, general laborer and/or welding experience preferred

- Regular lifting of 40+ lbs, frequent bending/stooping; work across shop, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments
