Position summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Digital and YouTube teams. In this role, you will collaborate with members of the Digital Strategy, Web Production, as well as other Marketing teams, to support optimization activities across our website, Google platforms (including Search, Listings, Ads, and YouTube), and Pinterest.

You will be responsible for regularly posting and optimizing content, conducting research, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and analyzing online performance metrics as needed.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist the SEO/SEM Manager with various strategic projects.
  • Coordinate with the Web, Video, Design, Social Media, and Online Reputation teams to schedule and optimize marketing activities.
  • Conduct competitive research.
  • Oversee and maintain the website's video library, ensuring video content is organized, optimized, accurate, and up to date.
  • Post and optimize content with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Research the latest market trends, search trends, and keywords.
  • Analyze and track online marketing metrics.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate results and insights.
  • Attend marketing meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including updating databases and spreadsheets.
  • Complete certifications in SEO, BrightEdge, and Google Ads.

Minimum qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years experience required in Digital Marketing or experience managing paid search and display ads
  • Previous full-time or part-time experience in a digital marketing assistant or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and tools such as Google Search Console.
  • Understanding of current market trends and social media marketing techniques.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough, in-depth research.
  • Familiarity with publishing content across social media platforms; experience with YouTube and Pinterest is a plus.
  • Strong interest in video content; video editing skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of SEM and familiarity with Google Ads is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in the office a minimum of two days per week.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
