DepartmentAccessibility Resource Center Job DescriptionJob Summary The Accommodations Specialist supports the day-to-day administration and operations of academic, housing, dining, and other disability-related accommodations for students served by the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC). The position provides support for the accommodations processes, manages a designated caseload of students (including the graduate social work program), maintains confidential student records, and assists with data reporting and assessment. This role is responsible for organizing and triaging all incoming general office communications and managing and supporting outgoing ARC communications. Take appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participate in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. MINIMUM REQUIRED Qualifications (education, experience, certifications, licenses, knowledge, skills) Bachelor's Degree and two years of related experience or the equivalent in a related field i.e. disability services, social work, education, etc. Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds Prior experience working in disability services in higher education Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related field i.e. disability services in higher education, social work, etc CompensationIn addition to a competitive benefits package, pay for this role is typically between $28.55 - $34.89 hourly covering the middle half of market compensation.
