Rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus and inspired by the walking Sisters of Mercy, Chaplain Residents at Mercy are essential in advancing Mercy's Model of Spiritual Care across our mission-driven, multistate ministry. As a Chaplain Resident, you are part of a one-year training program to complete three units of ACPE CPE through Mercy CPE. Chaplain Residents collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered spiritual and emotional care to patients, families, and caregivers in diverse clinical settings, integrating innovative technology that ensures consistency and accessibility throughout the full care continuum. Chaplain Residents reflect Mercy's mission, values, and charisms, strengthening a modern spiritual care approach that honors our tradition while expanding the reach of spiritual care through emerging innovations.
