Department 10015 Information ResourcesPay Range $147,264.00 - $245,440.00 The Lead Analytics Developer serves as a key member of the HSCSN data and analytics team, providing technical leadership for reporting, analytics, and data solutions that support health plan operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision making. Working closely with stakeholders across the health plan, this role leads the design, development, and maintenance of analytic products including reports, dashboards, data extracts, and data visualizations that support core business functions and strategic initiatives. The Lead Analytics Developer establishes development and data quality standards, guides solution design and data validation activities, and mentors team members to ensure the delivery of accurate, scalable, and actionable analytics solutions. The successful candidate combines advanced healthcare analytics expertise, strong technical and communication skills, and a passion for transforming data into meaningful insights that improve enrollee outcomes and organizational performance. Experience with healthcare payer operations and analytics platforms is preferred; experience with Epic technologies is a plus. As the Lead Epic Analytics Developer, you will spearhead the technical development of enterprise-class data assets, including reports, visualizations, dashboards, and data extracts, to support business insight and decision-making for the Epic Cogito and Clarity applications. You will produce and analyze reports to address significant business issues, combining quantitative and qualitative data with subject-matter expertise to deliver clear, actionable insights. Your role involves leading efforts to ensure that Epic report writing tools and outputs are effective in providing comprehensive and insightful recommendations based on data-driven findings. Leads the development efforts of BI solutions architecture that accurately translates business requirements to technology solutions and ensures the design will meet business requirements throughout the lifecycle of a change Minimum Work Experience10 years Requires deep functional knowledge with 10 years of related experience in the creation and maintenance of reports and visualizations. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Experience with relational database concepts, querying and analyzing EMR data using SQL for data extraction, manipulation and reporting. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, MicroSoft Power BI. Expertise in OLAP, Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL, PLSQL, XML, HTML Experience with Data Modeling; Python (programming Language); Quality Assurance; SQL (Programing Language). Experience with Analytical Techniques; Business Analysis; Quantitative Analysis; Rist Analysis; Root Cause Analysis; Statistical Process Controls. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Expertise in analyzing complex technical and functional issues, troubleshooting, identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Communication & Interpersonal Skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, deliver clear and concise documentation, and engage diverse stakeholders in meaningful discussions. Project Coordination & Time Management - Skilled in managing competing priorities and overseeing multiple projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality results on time while maintaining the ability to handle larger, more complex initiatives. Healthcare & Revenue Cycle Knowledge - Advanced understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and revenue cycle management, with a proven ability to align Epic system functionality to meet organizational needs and objectives. Adaptability & Resilience - Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to changing business needs, remains composed under pressure, and successfully navigates and drives change in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Collaboration & Teamwork - A proactive leader and team player who builds strong relationships, offers constructive feedback, and consistently works to achieve organizational goals through collaboration and mutual support. Change Management & Change Agent - Experienced in managing and driving change within the organization by influencing stakeholders, guiding teams through transitions, and ensuring the smooth adoption of new processes and technologies. Integrity & Professionalism - Maintains the highest level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, particularly when handling complex or high-pressure situations, while strictly adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Required Licenses and Certifications Epic Certification Requirement: This position requires that the appropriate Epic certification be successfully obtained and maintained for the assigned area of responsibility within 6 weeks of completing training or obtained prior to hire or demonstrated through work experience. 60 Days, (Required) Functional Accountabilities
The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
