$110,052.80 - $183,414.40 The Analytics Developer serves as a key member of the HSCSN data and analytics team, delivering reporting and analytical solutions that support health plan operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision making. Working closely with stakeholders across the health plan, this role develops and maintains analytic products including reports, dashboards, and data extracts that support core business functions and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate combines healthcare analytics expertise, strong technical and communication skills, and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights that improve enrollee outcomes and organizational performance. Experience with healthcare payer operations and analytics platforms is preferred; experience with Epic technologies is a plus. The Epic Analytics Developer serves as a reporting resource for the Epic Cogito application and is responsible for building and managing reporting across the enterprise. This individual analyzes, provides specifications for, and writes reports for assigned applications to support the needs of the Epic project team, leadership, and other end users/ stakeholders. This role has responsibility for reporting system support and maintenance, analysis, design, and change control of all components used to build and manage assigned reports, metrics, queries, extracts, dashboards, and other reporting tools. Responsible for validating existing foundation system reports and identifying and producing custom reporting content, optimization, and performance enhancement opportunities. This role contributes to the uncovering of insights that drive improved patient care, quality and efficiency of operations, a data driven strategy, and optimal decision making for leaders across the organization. Minimum Work Experience

Required Skills/Knowledge
Experience with Business Intelligence; Data Analysis; Microsoft Azure; SAS (software); SQL (Programming Language); Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS); PowerBI, Tableau, or other business intelligence software.
Experience with Analytical Techniques; Business Analysis; Quantitative Analysis; Rist Analysis; Root Cause Analysis; Statistical Process Controls.
Knowledge of Microsoft Visio; User Flows; Workflows

Required Licenses and Certifications
Epic Certification Requirement: This position requires that the appropriate Epic certification be successfully obtained and maintained for the assigned area of responsibility within 6 weeks of completing training or obtained prior to hire or demonstrated through work experience. 60 Days, .

Functional Accountabilities

  • Develop BI solutions architecture that accurately translates business requirements to technology solutions and ensures the design will meet business requirements throughout the lifecycle of a change.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals, to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports within the Epic EHR system.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Epic reports using tools such as Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, and other reporting modules to extract and analyze data for assigned applications within Epic Foundation system.
  • Design and create visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and metrics.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in data extraction, transformation, or report generation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Epic team and other stakeholders to optimize and streamline reporting workflows and processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Epic reporting functionalities, features, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Provides timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution
  • Responsible for providing training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize and interpret the reports generated.
  • Document report specifications, data sources, and methodologies to maintain an organized and accessible repository of reporting assets.
  • Contribute to and maintain an organized report and standard definitions library for easy access and reference for stakeholders
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications. Children's National is committed to providing a fair and competitive total rewards package to each of our employees. This base salary range does not include our comprehensive benefits package or any additional compensation for which this position may be eligible.
