Position Summary
The Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide flexible clinical coverage across the Benderson Family Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital, including the Acute Cardiac Care Unit (ACCU), Cardiac Procedural Unit, Consult services, and General and Specialty Ambulatory Cardiology. This role provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease, collaborating closely with attending physicians, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities The Per Diem NP/PA will be responsible for:
Minimal Qualifications Education Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Experience 5+ years of pediatric cardiac, pediatric critical care, or pediatric acute care APP experience preferred. Experience managing patients with congenital heart disease and complex cardiac conditions is strongly preferred. Licensure/Certifications Current Massachusetts NP or PA license with PNP or FNP certification. bchAPP The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
