Hourly Pay Range:

$31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
  • Position: Radiologic Technologist III

  • Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

  • Full Time, 40 hours weekly

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, rotating weekends, on-call schedule, rotating holidays

What you will do:

The Level III Radiology Technologist is proficient in a range of tasks and skills, allowing them to perform multiple procedures beyond basic diagnostic X-ray. In addition to the responsibilities of a Radiology Tech II, Level III Technologists are trained to work directly with physicians while operating complex, specialized equipment in sterile environments. This equipment includes a 3D C-arm, O-arm, and Stealth Navigation system. These skills make Level III Technologists valuable team members who can proficiently perform a variety of complex procedures beyond those performed by a Level II Technologist.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred: A minimum of an associate's degree or higher

  • IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation" - required within 2yrs of temporary license date

  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school)

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

  • 1yr prior x-ray experience, preferred

  • Preferred: Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment

  • Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations

  • Sterile technique

  • Safely operate multiple fluoroscopy machines using ALARA principles
