Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. Master's Degree strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in the area of specialty. Ideal candidate would have three to five years of professional work experience. Experience in data analysis, reporting and effective presentation required. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. LICENSURE Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut. SPECIAL SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to navigate across departments and delivery networks to achieve results. Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve complex problems across multiple departments and/or delivery networks. Clinical credibility with physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team. Ability to quickly process complex problems, identify key components, and develop plans for resolution. Effective interactions with all health care team members and the ability to elicit their cooperation. Demonstrated skills in clinical management of specific patient populations including working with and providing support of primary nursing. Ability to provide clinical financial education to colleagues, patients, and families. Critical thinking, negotiation and priority setting of highest importance in this role. Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel. PHYSICAL DEMAND While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and/or hear. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. Incumbents as well as external and internal applicants who become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without the assistance of reasonable accommodation as determined on a case by case basis.
