We have an opportunity foraMaintenance Technician IIIto join ourDelavan, WIteam. You will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform intermediate-level maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance activities across production equipment and facility systems. This role is the first step in the Professional Maintenance career path and the third step in the overall maintenance development progression. You will work with minimal supervision on assigned repairs and begin developing the skills needed to mentor Maintenance Technicians. You will:
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, production equipment, and facility systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform intermediate-level repairs on electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and related systems. Intermediate carpentry experience may be considered in place of hydraulic or pneumatic experience.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities with minimal coaching or supervision to help prevent breakdowns and maintain reliable equipment performance.
- Support CNC machines, injection molding machines, custom pump test stands, electrical test stands, and other production equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members, production personnel, engineering, and third-party contractors to resolve equipment and facility issues.
- Follow all safety regulations, electrical safety requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, organized, and serviceable condition.
- Assist with equipment setup, relocation, dismantling, and special projects.
- Begin learning and applying effective mentoring practices for Maintenance Technicians I and II.
- Perform other duties as required. This description covers the most significant responsibilities but does not exclude occasional assignments not listed.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience and 3+ years of experience.
- Relevant maintenance experience demonstrating the ability to perform intermediate-level repairs with minimal supervision or coaching.
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and foundational knowledge of 120-volt and 480-volt systems (480v is a plus).
- Arc-flash training and the ability to follow applicable electrical safety practices.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical schematics, and technical blueprints.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and injection molding equipment is preferred.
- Experience servicing electrical quality-testing equipment used in production and assembly operations.
- Foundational understanding of Autonomous Maintenance principles.
- Foundational knowledge of HVAC or carpentry.
- Foundational PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Foundational computer skills, including the ability to enter and maintain maintenance records.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and other maintenance-related equipment safely.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work overtime as needed to support maintenance operations.

Shift/Hours:
- 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work is performed in a plant facility with exposure to heat, dust, mid-level noise, fumes, and odors. The position requires continuous standing and walking for extended periods. Candidates must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, which include pulling, pushing, andlifting upto 50 pounds. Team assistance will be provided for heavier loads. Additional physical requirements may include ladder climbing, sitting, bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces. Compensation: The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is:$34.00 - $37.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience. **Hiring Bonus**
- $1000 Hiring Bonus- The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment. This amount will be subject to repayment in full if your employment with Pentair terminates at any time within one year of your hire date.
