What You'll Do:
- Develop and support embedded software from requirements and design through implementation, integration, testing, production, and ongoing support.
- Lead significant software features and integrations while resolving complex technical challenges and helping shape technical direction for subsystems.
- Collaborate across software and systems engineering teams to define performance requirements and integrate software and hardware components.
- Contribute to software test plans, technical documentation, peer reviews, defect resolution, and formal testing activities.
- Develop and troubleshoot software using C++ and other languages and tools across Windows, Linux, and embedded real-time operating systems.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 4+years of experience in object-oriented software development using C++.
- 4+years of experience in embedded real-time software development in Linux or VxWorks environments.
- 4+years of experience in high-performance and multi-threaded programming.
- 4+years of experience in leading significant features, resolving complex
- 4+years of experience in technical challenges or providing technical direction for subsystems.
What Sets You Apart:
- Master's Degree
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge in programming languages, compilers, and application execution.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and influence execution without direct authority.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, if required for the program.
- Advanced proficiency with C++.
- Experience working with Department of Defense programs.
- Experience with hands-on software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
- Experience in embedded systems design, including use of a real-time operating system.
- Working knowledge of signal processing, control systems, or networking.
- Knowledge of protocols such as IP, UDP, TCP, and IPsec.
- Solid presentation and technical writing skills.
- Stonge communication skills and documentation

- Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
