Field Service Representative

Job Summary:

The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions involves providingoperations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. Thisposition is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration,softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting,conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contractspecifications.

Key Characteristics:

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, andother site-specific testing requirements
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, aircompressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summariesof work performed
• Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet all customer site requirements

Education & Experience

Required:

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to travel 15-20% frequency

Preferred:

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate inInstrumentation

Working Conditions

• Ability to travel within the region as needed

• Experience in water treatment equipment maintenance
