Molex, a Koch Company, is seeking Early Career Engineers to join our Global Sales & Marketing team through our 6month Early Career Development Program. This program is designed for individuals interested in building a career in technical sales, business development, customer engagement, marketing, and related commercial functions. Participants will be hired into a designated Global Sales & Marketing role and will complete a structured development experience that combines training, networking, business exposure, and hands-on responsibilities aligned to their assigned position.

Assigned roles may include opportunities such as Field Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, Business Development Engineer, Product Design Engineer, Product Manager, and other early-career positions based on business needs and individual strengths.

Whether your background is in engineering or business, this program will help you develop a strong understanding of Molex products, customers, markets, and commercial strategies while building the skills needed for long-term career success.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in a structured 6 month development program designed to accelerate readiness and long-term success in your assigned role.
  • Gain exposure to key functions within Global Sales & Marketing, including Sales Engineering, Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
  • Perform meaningful work within your assigned position while receiving coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of Molex products, applications, customers, and target markets.
  • Support customer needs through product recommendations, application guidance, technical support, and commercial engagement.
  • Build relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Participate in networking opportunities, customer visits, leadership interactions, and training programs.
  • Contribute to strategic projects that support business objectives and drive customer value.
  • Develop business acumen, communication skills, and commercial knowledge necessary for a successful career within Molex.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, customer engagement, business development, product management, marketing, or technical solutions.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, OR pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Sales, or related fields with a demonstrated interest in technical sales and customer-facing careers.
  • Leadership experience through internships, student organizations, athletics, work experience, military service, or campus involvement.

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
