Warehouse Associate

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete company forms, shipping documents, and inventory records.
• Basic computer and writing skills required for documentation and communication.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling environment required.
• Experience operating a forklift, order picker, and squeeze truck is required.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers, containers, and freight preferred.
• Experience using warehouse equipment to retrieve and store products at various heights.

• Ability to learn warehouse processes, inventory procedures, and safety standards.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds for up to 50% of the workday.
• Ability to bend, crawl, walk, stand, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable operating equipment at elevated heights; must not have a fear of heights.
• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and around material handling equipment.

Job Duties

• Unload inbound shipments of tires from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Reload and stage tire shipments for outbound distribution and customer orders.
• Move products throughout the warehouse using forklifts, squeeze trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment.
• Retrieve inventory from high storage locations while following all warehouse safety procedures.
• Verify shipment information, complete required documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding inventory and shipping needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and other assigned duties as needed.
