The Opportunity Are you passionate about using advanced simulation technologies to shape the future of energy solutions? Hitachi Energy is looking for a R&D Electrical Engineer to join our global Multi-physics Simulation Team within the Transformers business. In this exciting role, you will help drive the development of next-generation dry-type and liquid-filled distribution and traction transformers through cutting-edge circuit-level, electromagnetic, and multi-physics simulations. Working alongside a diverse network of R&D, engineering, testing, and product development professionals, you will play a key role in accelerating innovation and enabling smarter, more efficient product development. This position offers the opportunity to influence product performance from the earliest design stages by leveraging simulation-driven methodologies to predict outcomes, reduce development risks, and support a shift-left approach to engineering. You will contribute to the development of new technologies, advanced modeling techniques, and automated simulation workflows that help bring reliable, high-performing transformer solutions to customers worldwide.
