As a Safety & Environmental Engineer, you'll be a key partner to our manufacturing and product teams-helping evaluate processes, equipment, materials, and operational changes to ensure we work safely, responsibly, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence how manufacturing gets done while helping build a culture where safety, environmental responsibility, accountability, and continuous improvement are part of the operation-not just policies on a wall. Why This Role Matters You won't simply be reviewing policies from behind a desk. You'll be in the plant, working alongside manufacturing teams, evaluating processes, identifying hazards, solving problems, and helping turn EHS requirements into practical solutions. Your engineering expertise will directly contribute to safer operations, stronger environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Environment This role combines office-based engineering and administrative work with frequent time in manufacturing and operational areas. Site may involve inspections, process evaluations, testing, sample gathering, and supporting process or product changes. Strong Safety mindset. The manufacturing environment may include moderate background noise, hard walking/standing surfaces, varying temperatures, airborne dust, and graphite particles. Appropriate PPE-including safety footwear, safety glasses/goggles, and respiratory protection when required-may be necessary. Travel Domestic travel by land and air may be required, up to 15%. Relocation benefits may be available, if deemed applicable based on candidate location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited tojob-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
