The Job The Public Relations (PR) Specialist supports SCAN's External Communications function as it continues to evolve beyond traditional public relations to serve as the communications partner for multiple organizations, brands, executive leaders, and enterprise initiatives. This role provides executional support across integrated public relations, corporate communications, thought leadership, social media, video production, event communications, media monitoring, reporting, and PR administration to strengthen SCAN's reputation, amplify its leadership, and support business growth. The PR Specialist supports proactive communications, timely delivery, and consistent quality across an expanding portfolio that includes SCAN Health Plan, SCAN Sales, SCAN Central, SCAN Embrace, Healthcare in Action, myPlace Health, CEO communications, CEO podcast support, thought leadership, speaking engagements, Communications Council engagement, and strategic communications consulting for enterprise priorities. This role takes on operational responsibilities that require significant senior-level involvement, allowing External Communications leadership to focus on enterprise strategy, executive counsel, reputation management, crisis communications, and high-value media engagement. You Will Support public relations, media relations, and corporate communications activities, including media monitoring, media list management, reporting, and timely response support for media inquiries and reputation management situations.
