Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating daily activities within the Materials Department.Support team members by providing guidance on daily assignments, work schedules, and training requirements.Assist in planning work schedules, assignments, and production activities to meet operational goals.Utilize SAP, Cassioli scanners, and related systems to support material tracking and inventory accuracy.Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities to ensure uninterrupted production.Partner with Planning, Engineering, Launch, and Production teams to ensure accurate material setup and availability.Monitor production activities and ensure adherence to established processes and standards.Review production schedules, reports, and operational data to support material and production requirements.Coordinate with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support continuous production flow.Maintain receiving records, logs, and documentation to support audit requirements.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and performance.Develop and maintain training matrices for team members.Drive inventory accuracy through adherence to established processes and controls.Support quality management system requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform additional duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED required.Associate degree preferred. Experience Requirements
