Life Sciences Center Job Description
This exciting opportunity focuses on investigating signaling pathways and protein-protein interaction experiments in mammalian skeletal muscle cells. The successful candidate will perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, maintain cell cultures, analyze and interpret research data, and contribute to innovative projects aimed at advancing our understanding of muscle biology. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative research environment while developing expertise in a variety of laboratory techniques. Shift
Monday - Friday, 10:00AM to 5:00PM or as negotiated Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and more than two years of laboratory experience in molecular and cellular biology, including sterile technique, PCR, bacterial culture and purification, and gel-based assays. Experience with site-directed mutagenesis, protein purification, viral transduction, and computational analysis of protein conformations and protein-protein interactions is preferred. Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and computer skills, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team, are highly desirable.
