Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Intern - Civil/Environmental Engineering at our San Diego (Sabre Springs), California office. This position allows you to apply your knowledge in water/wastewater treatment and environmental engineering to real consulting projects. You will have the chance to support tasks in the field and office. Tasks include environmental sampling, data analysis, report writing, permitting, proposals, and other technical documentation while also developing the business and communication skills necessary for a successful consulting career. This is a part-time position (16-20 hours per week) for approximately 13 to 15 weeks during the fall semester of 2026, with potential options for extension. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office. Assist with water, wastewater, soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and stormwater-related fieldwork, which may include sample collection, drilling oversight, remediation system operation and monitoring, and contractor oversight.

The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec's total compensation package for employees.
