Lead the Cost Accounting Team
* Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals
* Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
* Drive talent development through coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and recruitment
Drive Financial and Operational Excellence
* Ensure accurate cost standards, cost factors, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
* Identify cost reduction opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability
* Partner with operations teams to support business objectives
Manage Reporting and Month-End Close
* Oversee month-end cost accounting activities, including journal entry reviews and account reconciliations
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
* Analyze manufacturing results and communicate key insights to leadership
Strengthen Controls and Compliance
* Lead largescale physical inventory activities
* Supervise build station audits
* Support SOX compliance and testing requirements
Support Strategic Initiatives
* Participate in plant projects, system implementations, facility changes, and operational improvement initiatives
* Collaborate across functions to optimize processes and enhance financial performance
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* CPA, CMA, or MBA required
* 5 to 10 years of accounting experience
* Strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting
* Previous leadership or people management experience
Preferred Skills
* SAP experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to influence across organizational levels and communicate complex financial information clearly

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with CPA, CMA or MBA required.
