Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures

• Assist lead press operators with press setup and production runs
• Load paper, materials, inks, and printing supplies
• Monitor print quality and report defects or production issues
• Clean and maintain presses, rollers, and work areas
• Support production goals by keeping materials organized and available
• Follow all workplace safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Assistant Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
