This opportunity is based on a CNC Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing, or precision machining is a plus. Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production documents. Experience Requirements Previous CNC machine operation, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or other production machining equipment. Ability to perform machine setups, adjust offsets, and select appropriate tooling and fixtures. Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection tools. Understanding of machining tolerances, quality standards, and production requirements. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of CNC controls, machine tooling, machine offsets, and troubleshooting techniques. CNC programming or G-code experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform shop math and interpret measurements accurately. Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Willingness to work overtime, additional shifts, or weekends as business demands require. Job Duties Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to manufacture precision components. Load raw materials, install tooling and fixtures, and verify machine setups prior to production runs. Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot basic machining issues. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances. Complete production documentation, perform routine equipment maintenance, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
