Quality Technician

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in electrical systems, electronics, or industrial technology is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and drawings.

Experience Requirements

• Electrical experience required.
• Manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wiring, soldering, cable assembly, or electronic assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Basic math, measurement, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds as needed.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts, wiring, and electronic components.
• Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, for detailed inspection and assembly work.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Duties

• Inspect electrical and electronic components using schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform wiring, soldering, cable assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet production goals while ensuring quality standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
