Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred. Procurement or supply chain certifications are a plus. Experience Requirements 1+ years of procurement, purchasing, inventory control, customer service, or supply chain experience preferred. Experience working with ERP systems, inventory management software, or purchasing platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook. Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and administrative skills. Preferred Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with vendors, suppliers, purchase orders, and inventory replenishment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and resolve problems proactively. Basic math and analytical skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Frequent computer use and data entry. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse environments while following required safety procedures and PPE requirements. Job Duties Manage purchasing activities to ensure materials and inventory are available to meet customer demands. Review inventory forecasts, replenishment recommendations, and stock levels. Create purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries. Track order status, expedite shipments, and communicate updates to customers. Resolve supplier performance, quality, and delivery issues. Support inventory accuracy, returns processing, excess inventory reduction, and cost-saving initiatives. Generate reports, maintain records, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.
