What You'll Do:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory data integrity across multiple systems.
- Receive, store, issue, track, and account for inventory transactions and material movements.
- Fulfill inventory requests, expedite material orders, and support engineers and lab service teams.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and discrepancy investigations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Train users on inventory systems, business processes, and inventory best practices.
- Support inventory optimization projects, process improvements, 6S initiatives, and system implementations.
- Conduct inventory audits and material reviews at Fremont labs and the Livermore warehouse as needed.
- Manage material disposition activities including return-to-stock, refurbishment, RMA coordination, and scrap processing.
- Provide outstanding customer service while enforcing inventory control standards and procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, material management, or supply chain operations.
- 1+ year of experience maintaining inventory records and processing inventory transactions.
- 1+ year of experience using inventory management systems, business software applications, or material tracking systems.
- 1+ year of experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation activities, or inventory investigations.
- 1+ year of experience providing customer service and supporting internal stakeholders.
- 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
- Proficiency with 10-key data entry.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience supporting engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or semiconductor environments.
- Experience with SAP, Kardex Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), Lab360, or similar inventory systems.
- Experience conducting inventory audits, material investigations, and disposition reviews.
- Experience implementing inventory programs, business processes, or system improvements.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience training users on inventory systems and operational processes.
- Ability to build strong relationships while maintaining accountability to established standards and processes.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Overtime: May be required based on business needs.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform inventory activities for extended periods.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST.
- Work Environment: Inventory rooms, engineering labs, warehouse locations, and occasional cleanroom environments requiring PPE and cleanroom attire.
