Shift Manager

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Additional training in leadership, operations, or workforce management is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Shift Manager, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Operations Coordinator preferred.
• Experience managing employee attendance, schedules, and daily workforce activities.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments is a plus.
• Proficient with timekeeping systems and basic computer applications.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the worksite during the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Capable of responding quickly to staffing, safety, and operational needs.
• Ability to conduct on-site orientations, employee meetings, and shift check-ins.

Job Duties

• Lead daily shift operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are met.
• Conduct daily employee check-ins and provide ongoing support throughout the shift.
• Perform on-site recruiting and assist with staffing needs to maintain adequate workforce coverage.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping accuracy, and employee documentation.
• Create and maintain daily schedules and rosters to ensure proper shift coverage.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
• Conduct new hire orientations and reinforce workplace policies and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
• Support KPI improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with employees and customers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
