Schedule: 7am - 3:00pm | M-F

What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate CNC or hydraulic press brakes forming mild steel, stainless steel, or structural steel
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, flat pattern layouts, bend lines, internal/external dimensions, and angular callout
  • Experience with standard punch and V-die installation, back gauge positioning, and basic angle corrections
  • Proficient with precision inspection tools: digital/dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, angle finders, height gauges, and radius gauges
  • Ability to perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to tight tolerances

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC or hydraulic press brakes forming mild steel, stainless steel, or structural steel
  • High School Diploma or GED
What Sets You Apart:
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, flat pattern layouts, bend lines, internal/external dimensions, and angular callouts.
  • Tooling & Setup:
    • Proficient in standard punch and V-die installation, back gauge positioning, and basic angle corrections
  • Quality & Measurement:
    • Proficient with precision inspection tools: digital/dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, angle finders, height gauges, and radius gauges.
    • Ability to perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to tight tolerances (e.g., *0.5, *0.030?).
  • Shop Math: Strong understanding of fractions, decimals, basic trigonometry, and angle geometry.
  • Ability to lift, flip, and manipulate steel sheet/plate weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and maneuver large parts for the full duration of an 8- to 12-hour shift.
  • Strict adherence to press brake safety systems (light curtains, laser guards like Lazer Safe/AKAS, foot pedals, and Lockout/Tagout).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical/vocational certificate in metal fabrication or machining is a plus
