What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular property inspections
- Lead, train, and mentor security team members, fostering professionalism and accountability
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns with effective solutions
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports for management
- Implement and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect guests and property
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding safety issues
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism
- Organize and conduct security drills and training sessions to enhance team preparedness
- Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents for compliance and accountability
- Stay updated on current security trends and best practices to continually improve operations
- Assist in developing a comprehensive risk management strategy for the resort
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- OVERNIGHT POSITION
Your Qualifications Include:
- Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related role
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP)
- Experience in hospitality or resort security
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and security technology
- Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management techniques
- Previous experience collaborating with law enforcement agencies
- Multilingual abilities to enhance communication with diverse guests
Who You'll Supervise:
Wage range for this position, based on experience, is $28.44 to $35.55.
