What You'll Do

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

KLA is seeking a Product Support Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and operational readiness of remote application solutions in customer environments. This customer-facing, cross-functional role requires strong deployment engineering expertise, infrastructure troubleshooting capability, and the ability to coordinate effectively with customer IT, security, operations, and internal engineering teams.
The engineer will help drive successful implementations from site preparation through go-live and stabilization, ensuring deployments are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with customer-controlled remote access requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation activities for Remote Application Product deployments, including site preparation, environment validation, technical integration, testing, go-live coordination, and post-deployment stabilization.

  • Partner with customer/Internal IT, security, and tool-management teams to align infrastructure readiness, configuration requirements, security controls, and deployment dependencies.

  • Support customer-hosted deployment environments involving VM setup, VPN tunnel configuration, authentication and authorization setup, and customer approval workflows.

  • Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, and network layers, including connectivity, site readiness, testing blockers, and operational escalations.

  • Support customer environment integration involving firewall policies, routing, DMZ placement, certificates, security considerations, and secure access controls.

  • Enable enterprise integration requirements such as LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, NTLM, SMTP, SSO, certificate management, and audit or reporting workflows.

  • Coordinate with internal engineering, cyber, product development, and support teams on new installations, troubleshooting, bug fixes, upgrades, training, documentation, and escalations.

  • Work with geographically distributed teams and support customer deployments across global regions and time zones.

  • Improve deployment readiness by enhancing documentation, testing coordination, onboarding workflows, customer handoffs, and gap identification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing, deployments, support and field engineering.

  • Experience supporting Applications and Products in hybrid enterprise environments.

  • Strong experience in all flavors of Linux and Windows Operating systems and environments.

  • Experience with enterprise identity and access integrations such as LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, SSO, and certificate-based workflows.

  • Experience supporting secure remote access platforms, customer-controlled access models, or operational support systems.

  • Experience working in semiconductor, industrial, manufacturing, or high-security enterprise environments.

  • Comfort working across time zones and supporting global customer deployments.

  • Travel to customer sites

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience supporting the deployment, integration, and operational readiness of remote application solutions in customer environments

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customer technical stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integration concepts

  • Good knowledge of databases, backend system interactions, schema concepts, queries, troubleshooting, and data flow validation

  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, ports, VPN concepts, and enterprise connectivity

  • Experience or strong working knowledge of firewall rules, ACLs, and secure network access models

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, and network domains

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for global cross-functional collaboration

  • Ability to work independently in complex deployment environments while managing multiple stakeholders

Total Rewards

Base Pay Range: $111,100.00 - $162,967.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
