Description

In this exciting and unique role, the Director, UCLA Health Regional Burn Center, is responsible for the fiscal, human resources, clinical, and communication operations of the inpatient nursing units and the outpatient clinic. The Director's professional role description is based on ANA's Nursing Administration's Scope of Standards and UCLA's Professional Practice Model. Develops, maintains and evaluates patient and staff collection systems and processes to support the practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care. Evaluates assessment practices, uses date collection to measure unit performance, routinely conductus CICARE rounds, assess staff performance.

Salary $167,100-403,900

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

Current valid CA RN License, required

MSN or BSN with a Master's degree in a related field required

3 years of management/ leadership experience in Burn, required

5 years of acute care RN experience, required

BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required

ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association, required

ABLS and CBRN, required

Knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with critical thinking skills
