SVP, Director of Community Association & Property Management Banking - Community Association Services

SUMMARY:

The Director of Community Association & Property Management Bankingis responsible forthe growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the Bank's Community Association and Property Management vertical, with a primary focus on deposit acquisition, treasury management revenue, and relationship expansion. This roleleadsbusiness development efforts targeting homeowner associations (HOAs), condominium associations, cooperatives, master-planned communities, mixed-use associations, and property management companies. The Director serves as the Bank's subject matter expert for association and property management banking, developing strategic relationships that drive operating, reserve, escrow, and specialty deposit growth while delivering comprehensive treasury management and lending solutions. This position partners closely with executive leadership, Treasury Management, Credit, Marketing, and Operations toestablishthe Bank as a leading provider of banking services within the community association and property management sectors.

Develops and executes the strategic vision and growth plan for the Community Association and Property Management vertical, with a primary focus on deposit growth, treasury management penetration, and relationship profitability.

Establishes market expansion strategies, annual production goals, and performance metrics aligned with the Bank's funding and growthobjectives.

Identifiesand cultivates relationships withhomeownersassociations, condominium associations, cooperatives, master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, and property management companies.

Develops referral networks with management companies, attorneys, reserve specialists, CPAs, developers, board members, and other industry influencers.

Serves as the primary business development officer for the vertical, generating new deposit and treasury management opportunities through direct calling efforts, referrals, industry partnerships, and market intelligence.

Representsthe Bank at industry conferences, trade associations, community association events, and property management forums to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.

Partners with Marketing and Communications to develop targeted campaigns, thought leadership, educational programs, and industry-specific branding initiatives.

Drives growth in association operating accounts, reserve accounts, money market balances, CDs, ICS/CDARS relationships, escrow accounts, and other deposit products.

Partners with Treasury Management officers to increase product penetration, fee income generation, and client retention.

Develops strategies to capture andretainlarge operating and reserve deposit balances from community associations and property management firms.

Works closely with property management companies toestablishorganization-wide banking relationships that support multiple association clients and centralized banking needs.

Ensures the Bank delivers a differentiated treasury management experience that supports the operational requirements of boards, management companies, and association stakeholders.

Serves as the senior relationship executive for key community association and property management company clients.

Maintains strong relationships with executive leadership, board members, property managers, andmanagementcompany principals.

Identifiesopportunities to deepen client relationships through deposits, treasury management services, commercial lending, and other bank products.

Leads client retention strategies designed to maximize relationship profitability and long-term loyalty.

Ensuresa superiorclient experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, and consultative relationship management.

Partners with Credit Administration and Risk Management toestablishunderwriting guidelines, pricing standards, and portfolio management practices for community association lending.

Provides subject matterexpertisefor association andproperty-management-related lending opportunities.

Evaluates association financial performance, reserve funding adequacy, governance structures, cash flow dynamics, and project financing needs.

Collaborates with credit partners to structure loans that complement broader deposit and treasury management relationships whilemaintainingsound risk management practices.

Monitors portfolio quality, concentration levels, and emerging industry risks, recommendingappropriate actionwhen necessary.

Ensurescompliance with all lending, regulatory, and risk management standards.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance trainingin a timely manner.

Carries out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withthe organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Understanding ofregulatory, operational, and reimbursement challenges.

Ability to bring or quickly develop a referral network in the community association services space.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years in commercial banking with minimum of 10 years of community association services industry exposure (direct lending or operator-facing required).

Ability to launch and lead a team; prior experience building a vertical or book of business is strongly preferred.
