JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Front Office Student Worker The Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management (RPTM) is seeking a student workerto fill a part-time front desk position in the eight floor administrative suite in the Ford Building, to helpsupport the management and promotion of RPTM operations. This is a paid position, and the student worker will be asked to workapproximately5-10hours per week. The student's primary responsibilities will include: * Front desk reception (e.g., answering questions to guests, answering phone calls) * Supporting office tasks such as printing, copying, scanning, binding, and mailing * Other office tasks as assigned The ideal candidate should have experiencewriting for different purposesand audiences(such asnews, business, creative)andpossess excellentwriting andediting skills. Proficiency working in Microsoft Office365software applicationsis required. Theworker must demonstrateexcellentattention to detailand time management skills, be organized, and self-directed.The worker must behave professionally in the workplace and have a positive attitude while interacting with students, staff, faculty, and other guests in the RPTM suite.Theposition is open tostudentsmajoring in RPTM or other units in the College of Health and Human Development.
