The mission of the Office of College Advancement (CA) is to enhance, promote, and support the academic programs, research and extension efforts of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (
CALS). Within CA is the NC Agricultural Foundation, Inc. non-profit, 5013 organizations formed as a means of supporting agricultural research, extension, and teaching activities in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University. The
CALS Advancement team works in close partnership with the central University Advancement Office and its partner colleges. |

| Essential Job Duties |
This position will serve as the overall office manager for
CALS College Advancement (CA). This job is multi-faceted with the primary role of making it possible for other employees to function effectively and efficiently by handling many of the day to day operations of CA.
This position is responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office operations, serving as supervisor to our student workers and as building liaison. Responsibilities include other administrative duties such as calendar coordination, supply ordering and maintenance, and human resource facilitation. |
| Other Responsibilities |
- Occasional driving required for meeting, deliveries, etc.
- In addition to the core responsibilities of this role, there may be occasional opportunities to take on additional duties. This offers an opportunity to build on your skills, explore new areas, and gain a deeper understanding of the department's operations.

Qualifications
| Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Gmail or other calendar system a must.
- Ability to explain and interpret information.
- Knowledge of UNC System and/or NC State University processes and protocols.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of university policies, procedures, and regulations, with regards to financials, human resource administration and business operations.
