Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be schedule Monday through Friday between the hours of 8-4:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a remote position. To be eligible to work remotely, you must be in an approved remote work state for UW Health. We are seeking an HIM Coordinator to:

Conduct daily reporting and scheduling duties to ensure smooth operations.

Manage staff shifts to adapt to fluctuating volumes and optimize efficiency.

Implement workflow enhancements to streamline processes and improve productivity.

Provide valuable support for various projects and testing initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Education:

Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Associates degree in a healthcare related field

Work Experience:

Minimum - Two (2) years relevant experience in healthcare related field

Preferred - Two (2) or more years lead level or trainer experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred - Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
