Overview

This position will require onsite presence at our facility in Irving, TX.

The End User Computing Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support for end users, including onsite, remote, senior management, and executive users. This role troubleshoots and configures computer hardware, software, peripherals, telecommunications tools, mobile devices, printers, and related IT equipment while ensuring adherence to company standards, security requirements, service-level expectations, and asset management procedures.

Responsibilities

    Troubleshoot and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
  • Provide technical support to onsite and remote workers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Install and configure Microsoft technologies
  • Troubleshoot common Windows software and hardware issues.
  • Provide support for network and systems connectivity issues where necessary.
  • Communicate with end users, client support personnel, peers, and supervisors regarding personal computer and client application issues requiring technical resolution.
  • Participate in inventory control and reporting for IT hardware and software.
  • Pack and ship IT equipment securely for remote employees.
  • Serve as the IT liaison when coordinating with other departments in the absence of the Supervisor or Team Lead.
  • Support printer setup and printing related issues.
  • Adhere to company guidelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Address user incidents and service requests within defined service-level agreements.
  • Participate in work from home video conferences as appropriate.
  • Remain available for after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows-based end user computing environments, including hardware, software, peripherals, and productivity applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Windows troubleshooting, endpoint support, and common enterprise IT tools.
  • Experience providing technical support to onsite, remote, senior management, and executive users.
  • Ability to follow established IT processes, security requirements, and asset management procedures.
  • Strong communication, customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize service requests, meet SLA expectations, and provide after-hours support when required.
