As a Sales Development Intern, you will gain practical experience at the intersection of technology, payments, and client engagement. You will contribute to meaningful sales projects, learn from experienced professionals across Visa's Digital and Enterprise Sales teams, and receive structured training, mentorship, and feedback. Throughout the internship, you will strengthen your sales and business skills, deepen your understanding of Visa's products and clients, and participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and events that showcase Visa's sales organization and global operations. What You Will Do Support research, analysis, and project work that helps advance client engagement and pipeline development. Learn how Digital and Enterprise Sales teams identify opportunities and support client needs. Use data, CRM, and productivity tools to organize information and communicate insights. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners on assigned deliverables. Present findings, incorporate feedback, and build professional communication skills. Participate in development programming, networking, and exposure to Visa's broader business. Pathway to the Sales Development Program Interns may be considered for full-time opportunities based on internship performance and business needs. Selected interns may receive an offer to join Visa's two-and-a-half-year Sales Development Program after graduation. The full-time program includes structured learning, rotational experiences, mentorship, and professional development designed to prepare associates for future roles in Sales, Product, or Account Management. Who You Are You are curious about sales and excited to explore a career at the intersection of technology, payments, and client engagement, even if you have not worked in sales before. Strong interest in sales, technology, payments, or financial services. Clear written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working across diverse teams. Interest in exploring future roles across Sales, Product, or Account Management. Digital Fluency: All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, to support everyday work. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date in December 2027-August 2028 Preferred Qualifications Coursework in sales, business administration, management information systems, international business, data analytics, economics, information systems, or a related field. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or SQL. Interest in generative AI and other emerging technologies. Resourcefulness, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Experience through coursework, campus involvement, customer service, leadership, or team-based projects. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $29.00/hr. to $33.00/hr. which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting.
