* Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions.

Event Supervisor schedule vary based on needs of the department and availability of events

Shifts are typically available between 4 - 12 hours

Mandatory workdays include, but are not limited to:



  • Move-In
  • Home Football & Basketball Games
  • Fall, Spring, and Summer Commencement

  • CMS Graduation

Pay Rate $20.00
Minimum Experience/Education
High school diploma or equivalent and a least one year of supervisory experience
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, combined with strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Familiarity with Google calendar and email
  • Experience in parking and transportation services preferred
  • Must qualify for PCI-DSS training
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Lift up to (50) lbs
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time


Duties and Responsibilities
Event Parking Supervisor duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise student or third-party event staff
  • Assist guests with parking technology
  • Scan or collect event parking permits
  • Operate a mobile credit card terminal for Day-of-Event permit sales
  • Communicate venue regulations to guests
  • Assist in pedestrian and traffic control
  • Maintain controlled access to parking facilities
  • Delivery, set up, collection of parking equipment (ex: cones, signage and barricades)
  • Other duties as assigned
