DEKA Research & Development is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team developing a self-administrable vaccine patch. This role combines hands-on manufacturing expertise with modern data and technology skills. You'll work in a dynamic R&D environment, supporting the assembly, testing, and data-driven improvement of cutting-edge medical components. What You'll Do
  • Perform manual or semi-automated assembly of small components.
  • Document processes and record production data accurately.
  • Inspect components using microscopes, sensors, and other precision tools.
  • Analyze data using JMP or other statistical analysis software to determine specification ranges.
  • Prepare reports summarizing results, conclusions, and process recommendations.
  • Develop and propose process parameter specifications to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Support the development of automated data acquisition systems.
What You'll Need
  • General laboratory experience and technical skills are required.
  • Ability to work in an ISO Class 8 Cleanroom Environment (CE).
  • Strong data entry, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and statistical software (e.g., JMP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for R&D and continuous improvement.
