Make An Impact:

Fossil Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Designer to join the Fossil Brand Global Creative Team. This experienced designer will maintain high design standards and an excellent awareness of global consumer lifestyle trends. You will bring a true passion for premium design, an innovative eye for structural architecture, and a highly collaborative spirit to our fast-paced environment.

This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

What you will do in this role:

  • Elevate Unboxing Experiences: Design and develop cutting-edge, premium, and on-brand packaging systems that balance aesthetics with customer delight.

  • Direct Production Workflows: Lead full-cycle packaging processes from initial brief and dieline creation to vendor handoff, pre-press checks, and final sampling rounds.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Packaging Production, Watch Design, Copy and Marketing to establish timelines and drive to final production deliverables.

  • Solve Structural Problems: Pivot fast to manage design obstacles like limited development timelines, construction limits, and international shipping constraints.

  • Own Asset Management: Oversee structural template libraries, strict print specifications, and factory-ready mechanical layouts.

  • Drive Eco-Innovation: Source, test, and implement sustainable packaging materials and processes to support eco-conscious global product life cycles.

Who You Are:
Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated consumer product packaging experience, ideally in the fashion, retail, or premium lifestyle accessories market.

  • Technical Suite: Expert command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Familiarity with 3D rendering or CAD visualization software is a strong advantage.

  • Production Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of print-production, dielines, paper stocks, sustainable structural constraints, and direct overseas factory/vendor communication.

  • Core Skills: Exceptional typography, layout, and illustration capabilities.

  • Workflows: Strong project management discipline with tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Jira.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent specialized experience).

Applicants must submit a link to a digital portfolio displaying commercialized packaging design work to be considered.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Includes health and well-being services

  • Retirement Planning: 401(k) match and educational resources

  • Paid Parental Leave & Return to Work Program: Support for new parents and caregivers

  • Generous Paid Time Off: Floating Holidays, Sick Time, Personal Days, Summer Flex Fridays

  • Work Flexibility: Hybrid schedule plus "Work-From-Anywhere" options

  • Tuition Reimbursement: Support for approved educational programs
