Summary: As a Resident Engineer, provides supervision of inspection and administration for construction and/or rehabilitation improvements of Waterworks and Wastewater facilities and infrastructure. Posting Period: 9/17/2026 to 9/30/2026 Location: Chelsea, MA Salary: $91,987.22 - $128,126.95 annually; $1,768.98 - $2,463.98 weekly Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Key Responsibilities

Tools and Equipment Used Office equipment as normally associated with the use of telephone, personal computer including word processing and other software, copy and fax machine. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee at times works near moving mechanical parts, and is at times exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places and is at times exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat or extreme cold, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in a field setting and moderately quiet in an office setting. Supervision Received and Exercised Works under the general supervision of the Construction Coordinator. Exercises close supervision over a small staff of field employees including inspectors.
