Summary:

The Alternate Program Manager (APM) shall be responsible for the performance of the work, TO compliance and quality control. The APM shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to daily operations.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supports APO programs, initiatives and ID card facilities.
  • Provides superior quality customer service to all eligible DoD military, civilian, and Contractor employees; to include their dependents and other personnel.
  • Ensure Cards issued are accurate and fully compliant with regulatory guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with card issuance regulations throughout Army ID card facilities.
  • Ensure quality control evaluation of programs and efforts.
  • Assist the Government with proposed policies, practices, and implications for human resources (HR) systems, and with design, equipment, and other change engineering activities.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiar with Government policies and procedures.
  • Possess good analytical and time management skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale Government projects.
  • Speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can read and understand printed regulations, detailed written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials and perform the duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The PM shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience managing projects of similar size and scope to those tasks identified in this job description.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience managing projects of similar size and scope to those tasks.
  • Obtain all required certifications and clearances, including SOFA and personnel security clearances (if applicable).
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required in support of the contract.
