Job Summary:

In this role, you have the opportunity to help ensure the quality of our products meets the requirements of the aerospace industry.

Job Responsibilities:

- Performing inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection

- Performing inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables, including but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection

- Performing inspection of purged product as requested

- Entering inspection results into the manufacturing execution system

- Generating non-conforming material records in our Manufacturing Execution System.

- Assisting with first article inspections to support component/part qualification

- Reading and interpreting standard specifications and part prints

- Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned

- Complying with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations

- Monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation

- Following and enforcing FOD, ESD, and Calibration protocols

- Communicating quality-related issues and escalating problems for resolution as needed

- Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations

- Submitting source request and hosting source Inspectors

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Typically requires 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment as an inspector

- Must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time

- Must be able to work OT as needed

- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 industry standards

- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of PCBA inspection standards; IPC-A-610 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

- Familiarity with cable inspection practices; IPC-A-620 knowledge a plus

- Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment preferred
