College Graduate - Rotational Engineering Program (REP) - start date July 2027 in Hudson, NH

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As an RF Test Automation REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative RF Test Automation team focused on automating the RF testing and calibration of products for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. This role offers hands-on experience with RF test equipment, test automation software, and production test systems from controlling devices under test and instruments to collecting, storing, and processing measurement data.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Support development and execution of RF test procedures based on product requirements and engineering specifications.
  • Perform RF measurements using lab and production test equipment and document results with accuracy and traceability.
  • Assist in assembling, validating, and supporting RF test automation hardware and software for engineering development and production use.
  • Contribute to test automation scripting for instrument control, data collection, storage, and processing.
  • Document test results, identify defects, and work with cross-functional engineering teams to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Help maintain and improve existing RF test systems, fixtures, switch matrices, and automation tools.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by transferring test methods from engineering development to production, including test documentation and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Collaborate with RF, digital, and manufacturing engineers to support products from development through production.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
  • A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
  • Prior Co-Op or internship experience
  • Foundational understanding of electronics, RF/microwave concepts, or board-level hardware
  • Experience using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers)
  • Coursework or project experience with a programming language such as Python, C#, Java, or similar
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and engineering requirements
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Hands-on experience performing RF measurements such as Gain, VSWR, P1dB, IMD, or similar
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as network analyzers, noise figure meters, or spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with test automation or scripting for instrument control
  • Lab bench and hardware skills: soldering, mechanical assembly, or fixture build
  • Familiarity with software collaboration tools such as Git
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, or similar)
  • Exposure to data analysis or data logging using Excel, SQL, or similar
  • Experience presenting technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
